Series: ADB Data Room: Green and Resilient Ports in Southeast Asia Dry Bulk Cargo Ports: Managing Dust, Runoff, and Emissions 16 April 2026 Dry bulk cargo ports are essential to global supply chains, with operations that can generate significant environmental pressures, including dust emissions, contaminated runoff, and greenhouse gas emissions, that directly affect surrounding communities and ecosystems. In Southeast Asia, where ports are often located near densely populated and environmentally sensitive areas, these challenges are further intensified by rapid trade growth and increasing climate variability. This session will explore how ports can move beyond compliance toward integrated, data-driven environmental management. It will highlight practical approaches to managing dust, runoff, and emissions, and examine how environmental performance is increasingly linked to operational resilience, competitiveness, and access to finance. This webinar is the sixth in the Green Ports Webinar Series, organized by the ASEAN Catalytic Green Finance Facility (ACGF) and hosted by the Southeast Asia Development Solutions platform and Development Asia of the Asian Development Bank (ADB). ACGF is an ASEAN Infrastructure Fund initiative that supports governments in Southeast Asia to prepare and finance infrastructure projects that advance environmental sustainability and strengthen climate resilience. ACGF is owned by ASEAN governments and ADB. Program and Learning Materials 16 April 2026 Session / Activity Title Speaker(s) Materials will be uploaded once available after the event.
