He works with community-based adaptation, climate-resilient infrastructure, and urban development and is responsible for the NDF support to several countries in Africa, Asia, and Central America.

Ms. Adelaida Roman is a Senior Programme Specialist and the Head of Air and Atmospheric Pollution Cluster at the Regional Resource Centre for Asia and the Pacific, Asian Institute of Technology. She coordinates the activities of the "Malé Declaration on Control and Prevention of Air Pollution and Its Likely Transboundary Effects for South Asia", an intergovernmental network dealing with transboundary air pollution in eight countries of South Asia, as well as the Project “Sustainable Low Emissions Transport”.

Mr. Sayed-Khaiyum is the Fijian Attorney-General and the Minister for Economy, Public Enterprises, Civil Service, and Communications, and the minister responsible for climate change. He is the second-ranking elected official in the country. Mr. Sayed-Khaiyum oversaw the creation of a climate change unit in the Office of the Attorney-General to examine legal matters pertaining to climate change that are often omitted from public discussions, such as how to protect the human rights of people who are displaced by the effects of climate change.
