Hikaru Shoji

Hikaru Shoji is the Unit Head of Portfolio Management Water and Urban Development Sector Office in ADB. He is a professional civil engineer specializing in water supply and sanitation, urban development, water resources development, and climate change adaptation. He led various development works as a staff of regional development banks, a non-governmental organization, and a consulting firm. He joined the organization on July 1, 2020, bringing over two decades of experience from Africa and Asia. He is currently responsible for ADB’s water and urban development sector portfolio management in South Asian countries.
