The purpose of these regulations is to implement Title 7, Chapter 4 Title 19 Chapter 2 of the Kosrae State Code by establishing standard procedures for the formal review of development projects. The Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) process is intended to help the general public and government officials make decisions with the understanding of the environment consequences of their decisions, and take actions consistent with the goal of protecting, restoring and enhancing the environment.
