Rector, Hue Industrial College, Vietnam Profile / Bio Profile / Bio Dr. Pham Van Quan is currently a Rector of Hue Industrial College, Vietnam. He got a Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering at the University of Tokyo in 2009. From 2013 to 2019, he was Deputy Head of the Department of Training and Human Development, Ministry of Industry and Trade. Before that, he worked as a lecturer in the Environmental Engineering Department at Hanoi Architectural University, where he researched energy-saving techniques to mitigate climate change. Dr. Quan has written numerous papers on sustainability topics. His research interest includes sustainable development, management of vocational training, managing cities as comprehensive units, with a focus on the water-energy nexus.
