Despite the presence of an effective system, Japan faces issues in prompting timely evacuation. This presentation provides an overview of the collaborative efforts between the central and the provincial governments of Japan in issuing flood-related early warnings. This material also talks about the collaborative efforts being undertaken to design the earning delivery that can prompt timely evacuation.
