IRRI shared their technology on cost savings from diversification, mechanization, and water-labor-greenhouse gas emission reduction practices such as Alternate Wetting and Drying (AWD) and Direct-seeded Rice (DSR) technologies and stress-tolerant rice varieties can help increase yield and farmer incomes.
