In his closing remarks, Justice Kamal Kumar thanked the participants for attending the conference. He noted the benefits of having a wide range of speakers share their experiences and help the participants understand how they are affected by climate change and what they are doing to ensure that they have a safe and healthy environment. The speakers also talked about various types of climate actions, climate impacts on vulnerable groups, as well as the roles and responsibilities of judicial officers in addressing climate change. He expressed hope that the conference has equipped the participants with knowledge about their roles and responsibilities in tackling climate change. He then thanked everyone who has contributed to the success of the conference, including the resource persons, the ADB and UN Environment representatives, the Supreme Court of Fiji secretariat, the Deputy Registrar (West) of High Court Lautoka and his team, the Fiji Police Force, Salen Sharma from the Judicial Department and Seremaia Seru from the Ministry of Economy, all the liaison officers and ushers, Ana Turaga from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the protocol officers, all the hotel staff, and all the IT personnel.
