Poverty and social analysis (PSA) enabled the Ulaanbaatar Urban Services and Ger Area Development Investment Program to become more responsive to the needs and context of its target beneficiaries. PSA guided program implementation by providing a thorough assessment of the social impacts of the program's various activities to different groups, but most especially the poor and vulnerable. This presentation shares how PSA was conducted in this particular program and discusses the various methodologies and documentary requirements needed to make PSA more effective.
