Countries need to invest in ICT for social protection now because it will greatly improve public service delivery, especially to the underserved. By investing in ICT now, countries can facilitate management of their social protection programs. With just a click of a button, they can easily determine who are the recipients of public services, what type of services they receive, and when and where they receive them.
