CSO Conversations: CSO-led Solutions for Technology-Facilitated Gender-Based Violence 26 March 2026 Guided by its Strategic Focus Areas, particularly digital transformation and resilience and empowerment, ADB seeks to strengthen its response to the growing risks associated with rapid digitalization in Asia and the Pacific. While digital transformation offers important opportunities for inclusion and empowerment, it also brings emerging risks, including the misuse of digital technologies to technology-facilitated gender-based violence (TFGBV) against women, girls, and vulnerable groups. Highlighting the critical role of civil society organizations (CSOs) in preventing and responding to TFGBV, the webinar will provide insights into CSO-led work and lessons learned from Mongolia, Myanmar, and the Philippines, and discuss practical entry points for collaboration. This session is jointly organized by ADB’s Gender Equality Division, Digital Sector Office, and NGO and Civil Society Center as part of the CSO Conversations webinar series, which has successfully demonstrated good practices in ADB-CSO engagement since 2022. These sessions target ADB's network of focal points responsible for CSO engagement, the CSO anchors network, and project teams, providing practical insights for leveraging CSOs' local presence and specialized knowledge for ADB operations.
