Closing the Loop on Food Waste with Insect Bioconversion (Circular Economy Webinar Series Session 19)
The ADB Circular Economy (CE) Webinar Series session explored how insect bioconversion offers a nature-based solution to the pressing challenges of managing food and other organic waste by transforming food waste into a valuable resource for the pet, aquaculture, and livestock markets. Aligned with the observation of the International Day of Awareness of Food Loss and Waste on 29 September, the webinar also aimed to share how insect bioconversion promotes sustainable food production and generates livelihoods while nurturing our planet’s natural resources.
