ADB at the 33rd Pacific Power Association Annual Conference and Trade Exhibition
2 to 5 November 2026

Fiji

The 33rd Pacific Power Association Annual Conference and Trade Exhibition, to be held on 2–5 November 2026 in Nadi, Fiji, will bring together Pacific power utilities, governments, development partners, and industry stakeholders to exchange experience and discuss priorities for reliable, affordable, and sustainable energy systems across the region. The conference provides an important platform for utilities to share practical challenges and solutions as Pacific countries accelerate renewable energy deployment while strengthening grid resilience and energy security.

ADB’s Energy Sector team will participate in a series of discussions with Pacific counterparts and partners on key areas of ongoing and future support. These include energy security and fuel price risk management; utility performance, data, and benchmarking through PRISM 2.0; renewable energy integration and utility modernization; and investment approaches for more resilient and integrated energy systems. ADB will contribute to the CEOs Retreat, engage with the PPA Board and development partners, and hold an Emerging Areas session focused on practical approaches and lessons relevant to Pacific utilities.

ADB will also use the conference to hear directly from Pacific utilities about emerging sector challenges, capacity-building needs, and priorities for future support. These exchanges will strengthen collaboration with PPA and regional partners and inform how ADB can help Pacific countries move from planning and analysis to implementation and investment.
