Senior Vice President, Head of Sustainable Finance Assessments, APAC, Moody’s Ratings Profile / Bio Jeffrey Lee is Senior Vice President - Sustainable Finance and Head of Assessments for Asia-Pacific at Moody's Ratings, based in Singapore. In this role, he leads analytical teams across Hong Kong SAR, Singapore, and Tokyo, overseeing the production of key sustainable finance assessments. These include Second Party Opinions on sustainable debt instruments and financing frameworks, as well as Net Zero Assessments evaluating the robustness of entities' carbon transition plans. Jeffrey also directs the publication of thought leadership research on sustainable finance, including market outlooks and thematic reports on transition finance. His insights help shape market understanding and advance sustainable finance practices across the region. A regular speaker at high-profile conferences, roundtables, and media engagements, Jeffrey represents Moody's in various industry forums. He actively participates in working groups and associations, including the Australian Sustainable Finance Institute, the Hong Kong Green Finance Association, the International Capital Market Association's Green and Social Bond Principles Advisory Council, and the Singapore Sustainable Finance Association. Prior to his current role, Jeffrey was a Senior Credit Rating Analyst in Moody's Financial Institutions Group (FIG), where he served as lead analyst for banks and non-bank financial institutions across ASEAN and India. Earlier, he managed a regional team supporting credit rating analysis for FIG in APAC and began his Moody's career in 2013 as an associate covering Korean financial institutions. Before joining Moody's, Jeffrey worked at Morgan Stanley's Institutional Equity Division in South Korea, covering a portfolio of Korean clients. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Korea University.
