Sidhartha Gupta

Sidhartha P. Gupta is a co-founder and Chief Financial Officer at Smart Joules, India’s leading energy efficiency company focused on cutting carbon emissions through intelligent automation and cooling-as-a-service business models. Before entering the energy sector, Sidhartha transitioned from selling securities as a Wall Street broker to running manufacturing and trading businesses—a shift driven by his commitment to sustainability and resource efficiency.

Sidhartha's background is supported by knowledge gained from the USC Marshall School of Business. He also holds a Series 7 certification from FINRA, demonstrating applied knowledge of investment strategies and financial analysis. He previously worked at GunnAllen Financial in New York as a financial advisor and has a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a specialization in Finance from the University of Southern California.
