Lalitha is the Programme Manager at BMJ’s global digital health programs, including the Covid-19 Information Centre (spanning 49 countries in the Asia Pacific Region), funded by the Asian Development Bank and the Clinical Decision Support (CDS) Training Initiative (Kazakhstan and Georgia), funded by the US Government. Previous programs include the Primary Care Strengthening Programme in Ukraine, funded by the World Bank, and the CDS Training Initiative in Vietnam, Azerbaijan, Jordan, and Iraq.

She is responsible for managing relationships with partners/donors, Ministries of Health and beneficiaries, line managing in-country Implementation Leads, making data-driven decisions, developing engagement and communication plans, and liaising with internal stakeholders (legal, finance, product teams, etc) to ensure programs are delivered to a high standard. Actively involved in monitoring and evaluating program outputs, negotiating sustainment plans with governments, and business development activities such as opportunity scanning and bid writing.

She is currently leading the delivery of a series of COVID-19 webinars in partnership with the Asian Development Bank (and other partners such as UNICEF) aimed at supporting frontline healthcare professionals. This involves developing the content briefs, marketing plans, data capture/analysis, and report writing.
