He earned both his Bachelor’s and master's degrees in public administration from the University of the Philippines Diliman, graduating cum laude and at the top of his graduate class. Beyond trade and economic policy, Jei is a passionate DJ and hip-hop dancer, spinning sets that blend New Jack Swing, UK Garage, and Korean pop and hip-hop. Whether he's negotiating climate finance deals or lighting up the dance floor, he brings rhythm, precision, and creativity to everything he does.
