Mr. Soon Chan Hong is Senior Country Specialist, at Bangladesh Resident Mission (BRM), ADB. He leads, supports, and implements the Country Partnership Strategy (CPS) and ADB’s pipeline development for Bangladesh that aims to promote continuing strong development partnership between ADB and Bangladesh. As the Country Team Leader, he coordinates with central and local governments, nongovernment organizations, business communities, academia, and development partners.
He also leads and coordinates the economic research and knowledge works for Bangladesh. He is responsible for economic analysis including macroeconomic analysis and forecasting and monitoring the economic and political progress of Bangladesh. He also conducts sectoral and thematic analysis to support the knowledge-based operations in Bangladesh.
