Mrs. Haque, Vice President SZABIST, possesses 41 years of experience as a senior civil servant retiring as grade-22 Federal Secretary.
Her last assignment was Secretary to the President of Pakistan, prior to which she was Chairperson of Karachi Port Trust, preceding which she headed Pakistan Railways as its Chief Operating Superintendent and Chief Commercial Manager. She has held positions of Managing Director Karachi Urban Transport Corporation, Director General Export Promotion Bureau, and Secretary Board of Trustees Port Qasim Authority.
Mrs. Haque is founder member and Chairperson of Civil Services Academy Alumni Sindh. She is Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport, UK, and holds the position of Chairperson of Women in Logistics and Transport. She was elected as member of executive committee of International Association of Ports & Harbours Tokyo, Japan, to represent Asia-Oceania region.
Mrs. Haque holds a Master’s Degree in Defence and Strategic Studies. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Law. She has done her post-graduation in Transport Studies. Besides numerous trainings at prestigious national institutes, she was trained at John F Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University, Canadian Pacific Railways and British Railways.
