Profile / Bio: 

Meg leads ClimateWorks Australia's international programs, with a focus on Southeast Asia and the Pacific Islands. She has written extensively on the nexus between climate action and sustainable development and led the development of the ‘Horizon to Horizon’ guide and Strategic Mitigation Adaptation and Resilience Tool to support Pacific Island countries to develop and implement long term strategies. Meg is currently leading an innovative project in partnership with Vivid Economics to identify opportunities for comparative advantage in SE Asia’s middle-income economies in a decarbonizing world. Meg previously led the development of a number of sub-national low carbon growth plans and sector-specific emissions reductions projects focused on energy efficiency and fuel efficiency. Prior to joining ClimateWorks, Meg worked in government, managing funding programs focused on capacity building. She has also worked for the International Energy Agency, supporting working parties focused on energy efficiency, renewables, and clean technology transfer.

Meg holds an MBA with a specialization in Environmental Sustainability from Deakin University and a Bachelor of Film and Television from the University of Melbourne.
