Profile / Bio:
Lainie Thomas is a Social Development Specialist (Civil Society and Participation) working in the human and social development division of the Southeast Asia Department (SERD). Lainie is implementing projects in the health and social sectors and serves as SERD's focal person for civil society participation. From 2009-2011, she working in the ADB's NGO and Civil Society Center. Prior to joining ADB in 2009, she worked with a range of NGOs in Asia and Africa in the sectors of education, health, community development, and capacity building. She has a Master's in International Affairs from John Hopkins University and her Bachelor's in Math and Latin American Studies from Kenyon College.
