Profile / Bio: 

Kim Allen, from Papua New Guinea, has over ten years of volunteer work in the youth space and four years of experience in international development. He’s currently doing a Master of Arts in International Development in Japan.

Kim started his career with the United Nations Development Programme, then to USAID PNG Conservation Program as the Communication Assistant. He is a member of various local, national, regional, and international youth networks working on climate change, environment conservation, good governance, and the Sustainable Development Goals. His engagement across various levels enabled him to represent fellow youths at various national, regional, and international levels. He is passionate about seeing young people realize their potential to improve their lives and that of their communities. He was part of the PNG youth delegation to the Youth4Climate Summit in Italy held in September 2021 and recently as Pacific Youth Delegate to the COP26 in Glasgow.
