Joris van Etten

As Senior Urban Development Specialist, Joris van Etten is out-posted by ADB’s Southeast Asia Urban and Water Division to the ADB Indonesia Resident Mission. He oversees the processing and administration of all future and ongoing urban projects in Indonesia financed by ADB. Prior to moving to Indonesia, Joris was with ADB’s Sustainable Development and Climate Change Department and coordinated ADB’s Smart Cities work, and helped draft ADB’s Livable Cities operational priority plan. He, among others, managed Cities Development Initiative for Asia and helped establish the ADB managed US$ 14 million ASEAN – Australia Smart Cities Trust Fund.
