Profile / Bio: 

Asif Turangzai is Associate Project Officer, Pakistan Resident Mission. He is geo-spatial engineer by background (Specialization in GIS and Remote Sensing) and working in the field of Climate Change, Disaster Risk Reduction & Management, and Resilient Urban & Regional. Prior to his joining as staff, he worked as consultant with Asian Development Bank (ADB) for 5 years and supported ADB to implement the disaster risk reduction output under the Flood Emergencies Reconstruction and Resilience project. He successfully completed several other National and International consulting assignments with World Bank, National Disaster Management Authority, UN Habitat, Asian Disaster Preparedness Center, Space and Upper Atmospheric Research Commission, USAID and other National/International agencies in his career.
