Anwar Hossain is Minister of Environment and Forests for Bangladesh. He has also served as Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources, Minister of Communications and a Member of Parliament. Prior to entering politics, he was in the media business, serving as editor and publisher of the Daily Ittefaq. Hossain is a graduate of the University of Dhaka, and he pursued International Relations at Georgetown University in Washington, DC.
