Profile / Bio: 

Aimee is an urban development specialist and economist working on urban development and water supply and sanitation, economic analysis of investment projects, and private sector development (tech startups, entrepreneurship, and business environment). Currently she is processing and implementing solid waste management projects in the Solomon and Marshall Islands and is supporting the ADB due diligence of economic analysis of urban development projects in Southeast Asia and the Pacific. Prior to joining ADB, Aimee was a Senior Researcher at the German Development Institute and a Senior Researcher at the Center for Development Research at the University of Bonn. She was a visiting Research Fellow at Cornell University and the FAO and has worked for many years as consultant for UNCTAD, UNIDO, and UNDP. She completed her PhD in Wageningen University, MSc in Gent University (cum laude), and BSc in the University of the Philippines.
