Adnan Tareen

Adnan Tareen is a Principal Energy Specialist under the ADB Central and West Asia Department. He is an electrical engineer with more than 20 years of experience in the energy sector. He joined ADB in 2007 and has processed and implemented several projects in Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Pakistan, and Uzbekistan. Recently, he led the processing of 300-megawatt large run-of the river dam in Pakistan (Balakot Hydropower Development Project) and is currently leading the implementation of the project.
