A new and emerging technology, drone introduces a great potential for use in high-resolution mapping complementary to traditional surveying technology and traditional photogrammetry. Geoinformatics Center, based at the Asian Institute of Technology’s School of Engineering and Technology, is engaged in research on delivering efficient and high quality aerial map products at low cost using drones.
