Global Shortage of Personal Protective Equipment Amid COVID-19—Supply Chains, Bottlenecks, and Policy Implications

This webinar featured a high-level panel of experts and discussed how COVID-19 is disrupting global supply chains for medical equipment, pinpoint weaknesses in supply chain management, explore solutions for businesses, and suggest how governments and international agencies can help. It also gave attendees an opportunity to learn about the supply chains for personal protective equipment (PPE) and how they have been disrupted by COVID-19, and discussed lessons from recent epidemics and pandemics, as well as how governments and businesses have responded as well as the role of multilateral development banks.
