As the Senor Director of Skills and Employability at Microsoft Philanthropies, Naria works to manage the company’s philanthropic investments and grant programs in digital skills, computer science education, and career pathways investments to drive digital inclusion and employment outcomes for traditionally underrepresented and under-resourced communities. Prior to joining Microsoft Philanthropies, Naria served as Executive Director of the Washington State Opportunity Scholarship (WSOS) which provided scholarships and thousands of hours of skills development and support services to over 8,600 students – the majority of whom are women, students of color and/or first in their families to go to college. Naria is a graduate of the Law School and the College at the University of Chicago. She currently serves on the Boards of Columbia Legal Services and Goodwill Seattle.
