Innovative Landslide Warning System Based on Hybrid Rainfall Monitoring

JAXAs Kinji Furukawa and NTT DATAs Ken Tsutsui will present grid-based landslide warning system using satellite real-time rainfall monitoring which is applicable in less ground observation areas and was demonstrated in the Philippines. They will also discuss the system upgrade by combining ground weather radar network and satellite sensors.
