6th Asia-Pacific Climate Change Adaptation Forum

17 October 2018 to 19 October 2018
Manila
Philippines

Resilience describes the desired end-point of adaptation applicable to natural, human, economic, and engineered systems.

The 6th Asia-Pacific Climate Change Adaptation Forum will focus on learning from action towards climate resilience development. The forum, the flagship event of the Asia Pacific Adaptation Network, is the primary regional platform for adaptation practitioners to meet, share their learning and experiences, and work together towards the pertinent outcomes and practical solutions that are needed to properly address the challenges of climate change. This year, policymakers, scientists, donors, youth, and business representatives from over 50 countries will gather once again, to share, learn from each other, and scale up on action and practical information on mature adaptation approaches, successful technologies and programs. The Philippine Government (through its Climate Change Commission), Government of the Republic of Palau, and ADB are hosting the event.
